Inspired by artist and model Toni Mahfud, this hair tutorial shows you how to achieve a volumised, messy quiff - complete with Toni's trademark hair strand over the eye.

That is epic! Just want to thank you for all your tips 👍🏻 I've been growing out my hair for a while now as I've always had no interest until watching you and blumaan videos, and I must say I now get noticed, I don't mean to sound superficial but it's really nice for me as a person who was ( I felt) overlooked. Thank you and keep those videos coming.
How do you deal with all the products that are not-so washable? I'm washing my hair less after your eyes-opening video, but I just cannot apply the powder anymore if I still want to wash my hair with water, all I'm using now is light wax.
It came out perfect! 💯🤘🏼🤘🏼🤘🏼When I attempt this hairstyle why is it that my hair seems much heavier than yours? Do you use texturizing scissors when cutting your hair on top? And does having a strong blow drier make a difference?
Hi Robin, from watching a few of Toni's videos, it seems he has naturally curly/wavy hair like me.
Do you know what steps he would take to style it from curly to straight like he wears typically/in this photo?
Thanks and great video!
well thats something i'm also wondering because my hair is really wavy , and i also saw on some photos he has naturally wavy/curly hair , but if i blow dry my hair it starts waving curling after 2-3 hours and i loss volume to get it straight with blow drying
The Banana Slayer I know a pretty late reply but the haircut is....Fade on the sides with longer hair on top. The hairstyle is called a messy quiff but Toni pulls his hair to side which is like a loose hair strand.
I like to call it High Volume Messy quiff with loose strands.
Could you do a tutorial for men who have natural curly hair? Not that curly, but kinda wavy. For hair length 7-15cm long? Would be amazing. What kind of products to use and what not to use etc. There aren't many tutorials out there which is a surprise, but my bf hair is very demanding.
But here is the main problem that occurs when you go to outside and have a couple of hours there your hair will be in a bad position. That means all the wind and the other conditions will fuck your hair unfortunately :(
I've never been so motivated to change my hair style. I've been stuck with the same messy quiff for years and fancied a change this looks perfect for me BUT I was wondering if this will work with someone with thicker hair? Thanks Robin as always great vid!
