Ok since you said you love NYC, here is Fashion Institute of Technology website, where you can read about careers, and maybe choose what you want to do. This is my dream school where I want to go when I get my green card. I came to America to study fashion ( just little college) and I did not know anything about it, all I wanted at the time is to learn how to sew. But know after getting 2 year degree, I learned so much from it and there is different jobs that you can apply after graduation 🎓, at the end of the day it all depends what are you good at 🙌🏻 good luck 🍀
xzee - it all depends what do you want to do, do you want to design or buy/sell clothing for companies, learn textiles and design it ( fabric) or sew high- end dresses?? There are few different directions in fashion industry
