Beautiful, but I have a question. Why does everyone who draws evening gowns on women, make from the waste to the feet so long? Frankly, it looks totally unnatural. No one's legs are that long. I draw and am learning to draw full figures and I intend to go for the natural look.

It's called a fashion figure. It's not meant to "look" natural. It's for presentation. It's meant "pop off" the page. Now when one is doing a more technical drawing for maufacturing/ garment construction, you will use more "normal" measurements. And actually when you do the samples and you have models wearing your designs, chances are their legs are going to be longer than the norm. So, a model coming down the runway or being photographed will probably look like that design
