Tears Of The Girls In Amazon | Video of Uncontacted Amazon Tribes in Brazil

00:00
Based on a MBC documentary, "Tears of the Amazon" tells the story of Amazon natives and how the destruction of their natural environment changed their lives. "Tears of the Amazon" is a big budget documentary that captures vivid images of the Amazon River in Brazil over the course of 300 days. The aerial camera mount, Cineflex have shot plenty of gorgeous high definition images of the vast Amazon River for the viewing pleasure. The documentary also address to provoking questions about environmental issues that will threaten the Amazon. Half of the 2 million plant and animal species in the world live in the Amazon, which is a treasure trove of wildlife diversity. There are indios who live deep in the jungles of the Amazon and do without the trappings of modern civilization while adhering to their traditional way of life. With strict paternal families, the indios of the Amazon are polygamous. But Western civilization is slowly encroaching into their lands. Bicycles, satellite dishes... What kind of changes are taking place in the Amazon jungles? The Zoe tribe retain the earliest human way of life and how Waura tribe begins to accept parts of the modern life. On the other hand, the Amazon is facing the threats brought by modern practices, such as rapid deforestation for large-scale farmland and the extinction of precious species due to over-hunting. Tears of the Amazon focuses on seven aboriginal tribes of the Amazons - particularly the Matis and their gradual transformation after their first contacts with modern civilization, and the Zoe, which live on the exact opposite end of the spectrum, avoiding any outward contact and maintaining their style of life intact. Showing how the rapid and gradual destruction of this natural paradise is affecting those tribes, Tears of the Amazon - just like its predecessor Tears of the Arctic - brings a new dimension to the discourse about global warming and environmentalism, through humanism which feels honest enough not turn the real matter at hand into a mere springboard for political diatribe. And for K-drama fans, it's even narrated by Queen Seon Duk's own Kim Nam-Gil, so all the more reason to check it out. Brisk business at Western-style restaurant

SOUNDBITE (English) Marcel Wagner, Country Director, Adventist Development and Relief Agency (ADRA) North Korea: "It''s special that this is the first European restaurant here in the city and we got the permission to set up this restaurant as a humanitarian project." 9. Various of North Koreans eating hamburgers inside the restaurant 10. SOUNDBITE (Korean) Hwang Gum Hui, Pyolmuri Cafe manager: "Our main meal at Pyolmuri Cafe is pizza. Foreigners, especially Europeans, like this dish a lot, and locals like it too. Customer demand for pizzas is increasing, and that''s why we are specialising in pizza as the main meal offering." 11. Various of North Koreans eating pizza inside the restaurant STORYLINE North Korea has opened its doors a little further with the establishment of a new restaurant serving pizzas, hamburgers and soft drinks in the centre of the capital, Pyongyang. Pyolmuri Cafe, which opened in June, was set up by the foreign aid agency Adventist Development and Relief Agency (ADRA), which has been working in the country for six years. Some of the startup funds came from two Swiss companies and the North Korean government also reportedly contributed. Both foreigners and North Koreans are allowed to eat at the cafe. But the country''s average income is two thousand won per month, about 22 US dollars, and with a pizza costing up to three US dollars forty, only Pyongyang''s elite can afford this type of luxury. Even so, ADRA staff say the restaurant has more North Korean than foreign customers, although it has become a regular meeting place for Pyongyang''s small circle of European business people. Pyolmuri Cafe is different to the other luxury restaurants in Pyongyang, which tend to provide Korean or even Japanese-style food. Its manager says that the most popular dish among customers is pizza, although the menu also includes pasta, hamburgers and salads, as well as European desserts like tiramisu. The restaurant''s cooks studied at a local cooking school and learnt their knowledge of European food from books and tips and suggestions from foreign visitors. ADRA intends the Pyolmuri Cafe to make a profit to provide partial financing for one of its ongoing humanitarian projects in North Korea. That project is a bakery which makes more than six tons of bread and biscuits a day to support the nutritional needs of between 55 to 60-thousand hungry children. Table Manners - Ultimate How-To Guide To Proper Dining Etiquette For Adults & Children

Shadow Stripe Ribbed Socks Light Brown and Blue - https://gentl.mn/2F6TeRR #tablemanners #diningetiquette #notsponsored Table manners are actually something your parents taught you but are actually far more important as an adult. First of all, your table manners speak volumes about your refinement and it's often interpreted as a sign of character. It's not at all about being snobby or showing off but much rather show respect, your host and your dining partners will greatly appreciate your manners. It's very important to keep in mind, proper table manners aways help you and never hurt you. The good thing is they can be learned and its never too late to do so. So what are table manners? I suggest you turn your cell phone ringer off when you enter someone else's home and put your phone in your pocket when you're with the guests. Don't leave your phone on the table because you are much more likely to pick it up and look at it which is impolite In the presence of other people. If the table is all set, you don't just walk in and sit down. Wait to be seated or wait for the queue of the host, or if they sit, you can sit as well. Ideally, want to sit up straight but comfortably, don't slouch, or cross your arms, or sit as you would on your couch while watching a football game. Don't expect to sit next to your partner and follow the lead of the hosts. Traditionally, couples were always mixed up to sit with different people. If there's a napkin on the plate or next to a plate, put it on your lap right away. If the host or hostess wants to say grace, accept the gesture for what it is and move along. Two, let's take a look at the place setting. In the Western world, an informal place will always have at least a plate, a knife, and a fork. If dessert will be served, you'll find either a little fork or a spoon on the top side of the plate. If soup is served or anything else that requires a spoon, you will also have a spoon. On the top right of the plate, you'll likely find a water glass which is always filled and a wine glass which is empty, to begin with. Sometimes you also find beer glasses; if you prefer that, if that's what's served with a meal. If you see little plate with an extra knife on a top left to your plate, that's for bread and butter. When you're done with the course, you place the fork and a knife at a four to five o'clock angle that means you're done. Three, now it's time to serve the food. Most informal dinners are family-style meaning there are bowls or platters where food is served from. For formal dinners, courses are usually plated but we talk about the intricacies of that in our formal dining etiquette video here. With bowls and anything at the table, the cardinal rule is, don't reach over anybody else and don't touch them. To start, pass the bowl around the table from the left to the right when you get the bowl you hold it and you serve yourself then you pass it on to your neighbor on the right. Always use the serving utensils and never your silverware that's on your place setting. Of course, if the host or hostess has a different idea, go with what they do. Four, finally it's time to eat. You should only start eating when everyone else has been served and a host or hostess starts to take their fork and take the lead. It is very impolite and sometimes even rude to just dig into your plate of food while the others are still empty-handed. #tablemanners #diningetiquette #notsponsored --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Want to stay updated? Sri Lanka,ශ්‍රී ලංකා,A fisherman eating rice and curry (01)

02:26
A fisherman is eating rice and curry aboard a fishing trawler. In Sri Lanka independant from the social class status, it is commun to eat a meal with bare hands. Forks and spoons are not required to have a meal in the traditional way. Most SriLankans will feel most comfortable when they feel free to eat with their fingers. In restaurants and homes a dish with water will be provided on the table to rinse the fingers. When asked why the use of bare fingers is prefered to spoons and forks, the usual answer will be "That the food tastes much better this way". The fingers skillfully massage the rice and other components into a composition which appeals much more to the local consumer than food served with cutlery. Unusual to foreigners may also appear the fact that frequently meals are not eaten arround a table together, but in a "open buffet" manner where everybody composes his meal and than sits down somewhere to eat "allone'. About Cutlery:Cutlery refers to any hand implement used in preparing, serving, and especially eating food in the Western world. It is more usually known as silverware or flatware in the United States, where cutlery can have the more specific meaning of knives and other cutting instruments. This is probably the original meaning of the word. Since silverware suggests the presence of silver, the term tableware has come into use.The major items of cutlery in the Western world are the knife, fork and spoon. In recent times, utensils have been made combining the functionality of pairs of cutlery, including the spork (spoon / fork), spife (spoon / knife), and knork (knife / fork) or the sporf which is all three.Traditionally, good quality cutlery was made from silver (hence the U.S. name), though steel was always used for more utilitarian knives, and pewter was used for some cheaper items, especially spoons. From the nineteenth century, electroplated nickel silver (EPNS) was used as a cheaper substitute; nowadays, most cutlery, including quality designs, is made from stainless steel. Another alternative is melchior, a nickel and copper alloy, which can also sometimes contain manganese. It also contains elements of magnesium and copper sulphate. Plastic cutlery is made for disposable use, and is frequently used outdoors (camping, excursions, and BBQs for instance), at fast-food or take-away outlets, or provided with airline meals.Traditional centers of cutlery-making include:Sheffield in the United Kingdom,Solingen in Germany,Thiers and Laguiole in France,Wazirabad in Pakistan

West African Food - EXOTIC DELICACY in GHANA!

21:37
►SUBSCRIBE for 2 new videos per week: http://bit.ly/MarkWiensSubscribe ►T-shirts and caps available now: https://migrationology.com/store/ Bushmeat is a term that is used to often describe wild game meat in Africa. And while there some types of bushmeat that are not good or unsafe to eat - grasscutter - also known as a greater cane rat, is safe and one of the most popular types of bushmeat to eat in West Africa. It’s a delicacy! So while we were driving on our way to Elmina, Ghana, along the side of the highway, we stopped at some hunters, and bought a grasscutter. Later in the day, we met up with our host family, and we drove over to the Elmina fishing market. The market was amazing, bright and colorful, and energetic, with some unique fish and seafood available from the Atlantic. We bought some fish to go along with our grasscutter, and then we continued back to the house to start cooking. First for lunch, Mama made us a dish called Eto, a mash up of yam and palm nut oil, topped with eggs. It was a little on the dry side for me, but it was an honor to have a chance to try that special Ghanaian dish. For dinner we prepared the fish and grasscutter. The fish was made into Ghanaian groundnut or peanut soup, which is one of the best dishes I at in Ghana. The grasscutter was made into a bushmeat grasscutter light soup which included chilies, garlic, onions, ginger, and tomato. Finally, for the main start of the meal Mama made omo tuo, Ghana style rice balls. How does grasscutter taste? The greater cane rats run around the fields and eat grass, so unsurprisingly some parts kind of taste like grass. But they are a white meat, and have a similar look to chicken, but the meat is even sweeter. It was also surprisingly fall apart tender. I thought it was amazing! Across West African food, grasscutter is a very popular meat, and a delicacy eaten on special occasions. This was one of the most rewarding experiences I’ve ever had! ►SUBSCRIBE for 2 new videos per week: http://bit.ly/MarkWiensSubscribe ►T-shirts and caps available now: https://migrationology.com/store/ Many thanks to Afia Tours (https://www.afiatours-ghana.com/) for taking on this amazing village food day trip in Ghana (Note: I paid for this tour, it is not sponsored, but I fully recommend it - it was awesome)! It was about a three hour drive from Accra to get to the village. The village was somewhere in the central Cape Coast region of Ghana (however no near to the coast, but much inland). The people from the village were so incredibly friendly, and it was one of the most genuinely hospitable and friendly villages I’ve ever visited. It was an honor and privilege to spend time at the village. As we arrived, they had already started cooking some Ghanaian food specialties. One the menu, we had banku with okra soup, fufu (a staple of West African food) with palm nut soup, and finally fried plantains with beans. All the food was incredibly good, and it was one of the best bowls of fufu I ate during my entire time in Ghana. Thanks again to Afia Tours (https://www.afiatours-ghana.com/) for setting this up! CONTINENTAL BREAKFAST MUKBANG | Pancakes, Eggs & Bacon | Eating Show

27:45
Good morning everyone! For today’s mukbang I will be having a traditional Western style continental breakfast. I purchased some pancake mix, prepared the batter, and poured it onto the griddle. Additionally, I made some sunny side up eggs and chicken bacon. I enjoy chicken bacon a lot more than regular bacon (pork meat) because it’s a healthier option due to its lower fat content. However, chicken bacon (and turkey bacon) is a lot less crispy so if you enjoy having a crunch in your morning protein then I’d stick to the regular kind. Hope you enjoy this mukbang like always :) ✖ SUBSCRIBE : http://bit.ly/2v8mcwM ✖ All Mukbangs & Eating Shows : http://bit.ly/2upQJIE ✖ All ASMRs & Eating Sounds : http://bit.ly/2thHIBO ── FIND ME Instagram : https://instagram.com/merrickeats Twitter : https://twitter.com/merrickeats Snapchat : merrickeats ── EQUIPMENT Camera : http://amzn.to/2uzn6Fi Lens : http://amzn.to/2thuPrE Audio : iPhone 6 Lights : http://amzn.to/2tZItyd Memory Card : http://amzn.to/2upV7Yc Editing Software : Final Cut Pro X BUSINESS INQUIRES : [email protected] Disclaimer: this video is not sponsored. 51:44
Fiona Phillips teams up with leading scientists to look at how to eat and drink to good health, and she uncovers some surprising truths. She reveals which cheap, everyday foods can give us all the benefits of so-called superfoods at a fraction of the price and why frying can be the healthiest way to cook. Fiona becomes a human guinea pig to test some of the top-selling health drinks and supplements. She investigates whether antioxidant smoothies really give us the healthy boost we think and discovers why multivitamin pills might do us more harm than good. In a unique experiment with scientists from Aston and Liverpool John Moores universities, she sets out to find the healthiest breakfast, and discovers why we'd be better off with bacon and eggs rather than cereal and fruit. To find out whether we can really detoxify our bodies, she puts some popular detox foods and drinks to the test and reveals why we're better off with fresh foods and the odd glass of wine. ------------------------------------ Enjoy watching. New video every Wednesday! About This Episode: Today we're in Taiwan trying out the world's oldest egg. JK. It's actually just a few months old. Ok, I guess that still pretty good, but nowhere near to its namesake, the Century Egg. The Century Egg is a unique Chinese born food with strong flavors and a pungent aroma, but once you mix it with some rice porridge or tofu, it's pretty damn good. About Sonny Side: I’m not sponsored. These videos contain ASMR sounds like: drinking, swallowing, eating, chewing but no talking. I bought floral foam and took a bite out of it, then I made an icecream and soaked it in water and put glitter over the floral foam and ate / eat it! The floral foam was really dry so I poured some water over, it absorbed all the liquid! It made some lovely triggering asmr sounds. It made tingling and relaxing sounds I almost fell asleep. Then I got hungry and decided to eat a piece of florist foam (not for real, I pretend to eat it) It made nice crunching / squishing triggering sounds. Casi me duermo. Autonomous sensory meridian response (ASMR) is a euphoric experience characterized by a static-like or tingling sensation on the skin that typically begins on the scalp and moves down the back of the neck and upper spine, precipitating relaxation. Teppanyaki LOBSTER & STEAK - Amazing Knife Skills and Fire Cooking in Waikiki, Hawaii!

First time eating teppanyaki in Waikiki, Hawaii! ►SUBSCRIBE for 2 new videos per week: http://bit.ly/MarkWiensSubscribe ►T-shirts available now: https://migrationology.com/store/ NOTE: This video is not sponsored, I paid for this meal in full. But Barry was able to ensure that he got to cook for us. Thanks Barry! Tanaka of Tokyo Restaurant During my visit to Honolulu, Hawaii to visit family I started posting some photos on Instagram. I got a message from Barry, who is a world renowned teppanyaki chef expert - he’s even traveling the world teaching how to cook teppanyaki. So when he asked if I would come in to the restaurant he works at, and he would do the cooking, I knew it would be a great opportunity - not only for the food but for the amazing cooking skill. Tanaka of Tokyo is Japanese teppanyaki restaurant in Waikiki, Honolulu, Hawaii. There’s an interesting history surrounding teppanyaki - it’s a Japanese meal, although it was invited to cook Western style. Funny thing is, it’s more popular outside of Japan than in Japan, and I’ve never even had it in Japan. So this was my first time to really have a proper teppanyaki meal. I asked the waitress what she recommended and it was a set that included lobster, steak, and scallops, plus some Hawaiian style poke to begin with. Our entire teppanyaki meal was extremely entertaining. The food was delicious and very high quality, but the cooking and show was a highlight. Our whole family enjoyed it from the start to finish. Barry is an amazing chef and he has incredible knife and fire skills! Eating teppanyaki at Tanaka of Tokyo is not a cheap meal, but you not only pay for the food, but for the entire dining show. Total price - $213.30 Special thanks to Barry for his amazing cooking! Banku and Kenkey are two more Fufu-like staples from Western Africa, served with a soup or stew or sauce. They are particularly popular in Ghana. Both are usually made from ground corn (maize), as are Sadza and Ugali, though Banku can also be made from a mixture of maize and grated Cassava tuber.
