Time Travel On Times Square - Time Traveler Incident

Times Square Time Travel Incident - The Man Who Leaped Through Time ........Long after all his living relatives had died, Rudolf Fenz returned. And he returned in the most incredible fashion possible. For Rudolf Fenz suddenly materialized on June 1950 in the middle of a busy Fifth Avenue in downtown Manhattan—74 years after vanishing without a trace. Seconds after appearing in the midst of heavy traffic he was struck down and killed by a car. Time had played a cruel trick on Fenz, it propelled him three-quarters of a century into the future only to toss him in front of a speeding automobile. Christmas in New York - Top Things To Do

03:57
New York is magical during the Holidays! Here are my favorite things to do in the city at Christmas time... 1. Rockefeller Center This is one of the most crowded areas in NYC at this time. Try to come early or late and avoid the crowd! 2. Sacks Fifth Avenue Light Show Right across the street from the Rockefeller tree is Sacks Fifth Avenue. Their holiday light show gets better every year so don't miss it! 3. Holiday Window Displays Start at the bottom of Central Park and walk down admiring the incredible Holiday Window Displays at some of New York's most famous stores: Barneys - 660 Madison Avenue between 60th and 61st Streets Bloomingdale's - 59th Street and Lexington Avenue Bergdorf Goodman - 754 Fifth Avenue at 58th Street Tiffany & Co - 727 Fifth Avenue between 56th and 57th Streets Cartier - 653 Fifth Avenue at 52nd Street Saks Fifth Avenue - 611 Fifth Avenue between 49th and 50th Streets Lord Lord & Taylor - 424 Fifth Avenue at 39th Street Macy's - Sixth Avenue and 34th Street 4. Macy's Believe Campaign Believers of all ages can bring their stamped letter to Macy’s addressed to 'Santa at The North Pole', and drop it into the special letterbox. You can also create and send a letter online at macys.com/believe. For each letter received, Macy’s will donate $1 to Make-A-Wish, up to $1,000,000! Also, if you're looking to shop at Macy's. For the three days leading up to Christmas it is open 24 hours and it's nearly empty if you go late or early. It's almost unheard of to shop in a store that's not crowded at Christmas time in New York - so take advantage of it! 5. Holiday Markets New York's Holiday Markets are the perfect place to find a unique gift. With hundreds of vendors between all of the markets - you are sure to find something for everyone on your list. Some of the biggest markets are at Union Square, Columbus Circle and Grand Central Station. 6. Ice Skating Ice Skating in New York is a Christmas tradition! The best and most iconic ice skating rinks are at Rockefeller Center, Bryant Park and Central Park. 7. Explore! The best thing about New York is that you can walk everywhere. Take 'wrong' turns and see what magic you find. Little Italy is one of my favorite areas to go at this time of year. 8. Rooftop Bars Rooftop Bars are a must in New York any time of year. But don't be discouraged by the cold! A nice warm drink and some heat lamps make them a great winter activity - and a perfect date idea! Some of my favorites are 230 Fifth (location in the video), The Ides, Hudson Hotel and Refinery Rooftop. Enjoy your time in New York City! Try not to spend too much time shopping - there is so much magic to be seen in one of the most iconic places to be this time of year :) COME SAY HI :) Instagram - http://instagram.com/rayawashere Twitter - https://twitter.com/rayawashere Tumblr - http://raya-was-here.tumblr.com/ Snapchat - RayaWasHere

NYC Travel Tips: 10 Things to Know Before You Go to New York City

19:55
Things YOU need to know before you travel to New York City. NYC consists of 5 Boroughs, Manhattan, the most famous and dense is also the smallest. Brooklyn is the most populated, with 2.6 million residents (total of 8.5M in NYC). Queens is the largest, and “most ethnically diverse” county in the US. Bronx is the northenmost and the only one that is part of the US Mainland. Staten Island is the most suburban Manhattan is BIG -- don’t expect to walk the whole thing in a day 5 days is probably the sweet spot. No less than 3 days. Wear comfortable shoes Girls: Sex and the City says everybody walks in heels all the time -- not so much. Don’t try and walk everywhere, the subway is there for a reason. NYC is Expensive! Everything costs more here. The city runs on tips New Yorkers aren’t really rude.. They are just efficient. Expect to pay to use a bathroom, there really aren’t many good public toilets Weather For about 8 months out of the year it is chilly. And, for about 3 months it’s just plain miserable. Be prepared for really cold and windy, or really hot, humid, and muggy. Be prepared to rain always. Summer: Highs 84F/29C Lows: 68F/20C (July) Winter: Highs: 38F/3C - Lows 25F/-4C (January) Winter Footwear -- puddles the size of small lakes Layers Best months: September, October, May and June Getting in Airports LaGuardia (M80 Bus) JFK (Airtrain to Howard Beach then catch the subway) Newark (30 mins on Amtrak or NJ Transit) Beware of unnoficial cabs Trains -- to Penn Station or Grand Central. Grand Central is amazing. Megabus if you’re on the east coast Driving -- if you do drive in… just plan to park and leave your car for the duration of your stay. Transportation in NYC The Subway mostly runs north south… east and west you’ll be walking it If you’re in NYC for awhile, get a week or month long Subway pass Avoid the empty subway car, it’s empty for a reason. Hot or smelly. Don’t lean on the subway poles… more people can hold on to it Pay attention to the local, or express trains. Get in the subway at the correct entrance, going the right direction, and for the right line There are tons of yellow taxis… but they are notoriously hard to hail in bad weather Flagship city for Uber, Lyft. But traffic is slow. If you’re running late, don’t take a taxi. You WILL get stuck in traffic. Erste Highlights in New York - traurig und beeindruckend | VLOG #291

11:26
Wir erkunden erste Highlights in New York, die jedoch traurig und beeindruckend zu gleich sind. Das 9/11 Memorial, die Gedenkstätte der Twin Towers, ist definitiv ein sehr trauriger Ort. Was hier am 11. Diesen genialen Ort sollte niemand auslassen, der New York bereist. Things to do in NYC with Kids | New York City Travel Video

04:27
If you're planning a family trip to NYC, check out my video with all of the fun things to do in NYC with kids! We had a blast taking our young children, ages 3 and 6, to New York City! Some of the things we did: Central Park - fun to play around! Serendipity 3 - iconic frozen hot chocolate! Times Square - our kids loved the M&M and Disney store 9/11 Museum - not great for kids that can understand what happened so we breezed through it, but it was worth going to. Empire State Building - loved the history and architecture of the building... and fun views! Joe's Shanghai - best soup dumplings! Annie travels to New York Day 1 | Shopping at Forever 21 Kids on Times Sq

NY Day 1. Travel. Hotel. Shopping. Just before I go back to school I went to New York to see 2 broadway shows: Hamilton and Waitress. We took a plane from Houston to New York, a taxi to the hotel, shopped at Forever 21 right there on the famous Times Square in the heart of Broadway and went to see Waitress. I went with my parents, sisters, big brother and his girlfriend and my cousins and uncle. We went to famous places like Times Square, 5th Avenue and Broadway! Come with me, I blogged daily. This is Day 1 in New York City.
