Wanna know how to build muscle and lose fat fast at the same time? Well today, I'm gonna teach you how to do it! Trying to gain muscle fast or lose weight fast? Whichever you're looking to do I teach you how to do each, I also show you my best diet tips here too. Check out my workout and diet below. MY WORKOUT: (just google these and look at the pics if you don't know what they are, none of them are complicated) Monday: Chest - Bench press 4x6 (4 sets, 6 reps per set) - Dumbell fly 4x8 - Decline bench press 4x6 - Tricep pushdowns 4x8 - CARDIO: 15 min intervals on treadmill Tuesday: - CARDIO: 15 min intervals on bike Wednesday: Back & Biceps - Deadlift 4x6 - Seated row 4x8 - Lat pulldown 4x8 - Barbell curl 4x8 - Dumbell curl 4x8 - CARDIO: 15 min intervals on treadmill Thursday: - CARDIO: 1 hour playing football outside with friends Friday: Legs & Shoulders - Squat 4x6 - Leg press 4x6 - Leg extension 3x10 - Leg curl 3x10 - Calf raise 3x10 - Shoulder press 4x6 - Front raise 3x8 - Side raise 3x8 - Rear delt fly 3x8 - CARDIO: 15 min low intensity (level 4) on treadmill (you don't need to do high intensity cardio on leg day) MY DIET: This is what I ate yesterday. I change it a little every day but this will give you a general idea of what I eat. Breakfast: Fruit and vegetable smoothie (hemp milk, banana, frozen fruit, kale, lettuce, hemp protein powder), and oatmeal. Lunch: Nut burger (from Whole Foods frozen aisle) with lettuce, tomato, slice of avocado, and rye bread. Dinner: Bowl of quinoa, black beans, lettuce, cucumber, mushrooms, and corn. Started 20th of July at 92kg/202lbs. Unfortunately there's no footage from august since the video wasn't planned until I really noticed results towards the start of September. "TODAY, 18TH OF OCTOBER, IS MY BIRTHDAY! But, that's not why this is a big day for me. 18th of October happens to be the end-date for the goal I set up 3 months ago. By coincidence, sometime in early July I stood on a scale. The scale showed 94kg's... 6kg's from 100. I was 20 years old. 175cm's and almost a 100kg's. I've never really been the kind of person that cares about what people think of my looks. Unfortunately, health hasn't either been an enough reason for me to stop eating large amounts of junk food, sugar, soda and other foods of low nutritional value. Regardless of what might have resulted in my weight gain, I knew that it couldn't continue. 20th of July 2015 (92kg), I decided that I'd lose my body fat and increase (or at least maintain my muscle mass), until the point where I would be able to see my abs. Since I'd never in my entire life been fit enough to were I could see my own abs. With 18th of October as my end-date and 75kg as my goal, I knew there'd be lots of difficult challenges waiting for me down the road. My determination combined with Hasse's knowledge and experience (one of my closest friends), resulted in me completely crushing my goal. Down the road lot's of people have criticized me, told me that it's not possible in such a short period of time, that I'm starving myself, that I'm training too hard, too long, too much... But just like there's negativity around you, so is positivity. And, at the end of the day all that matters is what you let inside of your mind. "You can't stop someone who knows where they are going". However, "good is not enough, if better is possible". With new goals ahead of me, the journey continues. Man boobs are common in new born babies but it hardly stays for 2-3 weeks. Then, it is also common in older males due to natural decline in testosterone. But, it is a major problem when it comes to adolescents. As many as 70% of them getting affected by it. Poor nutrition, side effects from medicines and use of steroids may also lead to man boobs. So in this video, I share with you 7 tips including the specific exercises that will help you get rid of the man boobs. 1. Lose weight There are high chances that after you lose fat, you will get rid of man boobs also. So eat a healthy and balanced diet and workout regularly to lose weight. Please do not feel stressed about it. Stress makes the cortisol level go up and testosterone level down making the condition even worse. 4. Eat healthy fats A male should consume around 70 grams of healthy fats everyday. Healthy fats boost our testosterone levels. Nuts, seeds, fish are some of the great options. Gyno workout Some of the specific exercises which will help you get rid of extra chest fat are bench press, inclined dumbbell press, pull over and dumbbell fly. There are some great push up exercises which will help you lose the chest fat. One of the most effective are close grip push ups, inclined push ups, elevated hand push ups. Will it work for you? Chances are yes but we’re all slightly different so don’t expect the exact same results. But also remember to be honest with yourself. Don’t skip two or three things on this list and then complain you can’t seem to see results. It’s going to take doing all these things to find success. Number one - find a TDEE calculator online using Google search. Number two - pick a goal. Number three - find your macros. Number four - Find a calorie and macro tracking app. Ok, number five - STAY CONSISTENT. Let me repeat that: STAY CONSISTENT. Number six - Find a good workout routine. Number seven - take progress pictures. Ok, that wraps up the guide. Is it simple? Definitely. Did I cover everything? Absolutely not. I could easily make a two hour video on calories alone but I wanted a very simple guide which wasn’t overwhelming. Why? Because the goal is getting you onto the road to transforming yourself, not holding your hand the entire way. Will it be tough? Yes. Will you probably want to give up a time or two. Yes. But remember: if it was easy, everyone would be doing it. Ask yourself how bad you really want this. Do you want to transform yourself or do you just want to tell yourself you’ll transform yourself someday. Hell no. Get up, start kicking ass and make it a reality. So after reading that part of the article, which I've also linked to down in the description below it's obvious that Laura is Jealous of all the extra positive attention that Charles is getting when the two them go out in public. People are giving him high fives while brushing her aside. In the article she mentions that when they met he was fatter than her and that she wanted a man whose girth would quell her insecurities. Well at least she's admitting to the fact that she has issues. Everything it seems comes down to sexual marketplace value with us humans and our relationships. In my first adult relationship my ex tried fattening me up and told me to get an unattractive haircut to lower my value so that other women wouldn't swoop in and try to take me. Women are very territorial like this and they want to be the one that people pay attention to in a relationship from the outside. Yet it's us men that are always portrayed as jealous. My thinking is that women are the ones that are more jealous they just go about it in sneakier ways with plausible deniability. She says that they both had the dubious pleasure of the shard humiliation of being fat in a world that extols thin. But I'm not so sure about that. I'm in the upper end of the normal range in the body mass index and people are looking at my weight as if I was ready to keel over and die because I'm so skinny. Yet I see plenty of taller guys that are skinnier than me for their height and no one criticises them. You see that being tall not only gets you more attention from women but you are accepted at a wider range of weights when you're tall. http://www.GetFitOver40.com - Get Fit Over 40 Update Video - 4 Weeks Out Victoria Cup (No Shirt). I'm now 4.5 weeks out from my Men's Physique Victoria Cup Fitness Contest in beautiful Victoria BC! I have been really good about sticking to my eating program and for the most part I am at a deficit of about 1000 calories Monday to Friday with a break period on the weekends where I hit my maintenance calories on these two days. This gives me a 5000 calorie deficit for the week which should equal about 1.5 pounds of weight loss per week. So in theory I should be down about 4-5 pounds of fat but to be honest my weight has only dropped a couple of pounds. I am at right around 192-192 pounds each morning and only weight a pound or two more by the evening. I can say I am getting leaner and I know by my extra training in the gym that I am putting in the time and effort to not only keep the muscle I have but also add a little while I cut! And to the critics out there yes it can be done and without any "special" supplements. All you have to do is skip cardio by adding in extra weight training sessions, keep pushing yourself harder each workout. None of this super high rep light weight cutting crap. Make sure to get enough carbs to replenish your glycogen levels and give yourself enough time to get the job done, so no radical calorie restrictions! I recorded this update video outside this time to get more natural lighting, it was a bit shadowy in places but you can get an idea of where I am so far in my cut, to be honest the video is not doing me any justice but at least when I get contest ready you will see some big changes. I figure I will be walking on stage at around 185 pounds. Last November at the Sandra Wickham Men's Master Physique Contest that I won, I was 175 pounds but was a dehydrated 175. This time I am going to dehydrate less and trust that my conditioning will get me as shredded as I need to be. The problem with dehydrating is you also lose muscle size from water loss in the muscle fibers :( Well stay tuned for more Victoria Cup Contest Prep update videos... Extra-virgin olive oil (or spray olive oil) 1 tbsp Pepper 1 pinch | Smoky Sriracha Glaze | Sugar-free maple syrup (or raw honey) 3 tbsp Smoked paprika 1 tbsp Sriracha 2 tbsp Tumeric (optional) 1 tsp | Pineapple Glaze | Bragg liquid aminos or low-sodium soy sauce 1/2 tbsp Fresh-diced pineapple 1/4 cup Low-sodium ketchup or no-salt tomato sauce 1-1/2 tbsp Sugar-free maple syrup or raw honey 3 tbsp Apple cider vinegar 1 tsp Garlic, minced 1/2 clove Fresh lemon To taste Black pepper 1 pinch | Directions | 1. Fire up the grill, or heat the oven to at least 350 degrees F. 2. Brush or spray the salmon with a little olive oil and a pinch or two of pepper. 3. In a small bowl, mix together the ingredients for the smoky Sriracha glaze. Season to taste, and then set it aside. 4. In food processor or blender, mix together the ingredients for the pineapple glaze. Season to taste with fresh lemon and more pepper. Set it aside. 5. Baste the salmon with either of the sauces, and place it on the grill (or in the oven on a baking sheet) for 5-7 minutes. Flip the salmon, baste it with the sauce again, and grill or bake it for another 5-7 minutes. 6. Repeat until the salmon is cooked to your desired readiness; just be careful not to overcook it. Working out alone in a tiny, converted man-cave, a 48 year old man drops 30 pounds in 18 weeks to prove that he shouldn't have let his ass get that big in the first place. For those who are interested. here's the basics of my diet and training: I trained 6 days a week - 3 days cardio, 3 days weights. The cardio covered running, cycling, rowing, x-trainer & boxing, starting easy and rising in intensity throughout the program. I tried to keep the weights as balanced as possible, but didn't go too heavy. This was partly because I don't want to bulk up any more and partly because I have to be very careful of health and safety training on my own. The exercises varied from bicep curls, shoulder flares and bench press to chin ups, dumbbell shrugs and tricep extensions. Diet was pretty standard and balanced, but with the following rules. No bread, no desserts, no snacks like crisps (potato chips) etc., 6 meals a day but no big ones and no alcohol. I kept strictly to that for 6 days a week and the 7th day was a free day when I could eat anything. A typical day is as follows. Meal 1 (7am) Bowl of cereal with zero fat yoghurt. Meal 2 (10am) Small snack, the size of an energy bar, and an apple. Meal 3 (Noon) Small salad dominated by protein. Meal 4 (3pm) Small snack, size of an energy bar (usually a banana). Meal 5 (6pm-ish) Main meal. Good quality stuff with good protein (salmon etc), vegetables etc. Not too many carbs. Meal 6 (No later than 8) My wife has a Nutribullet now, so we have a fruit smoothie. Golden rule is never eat yourself full and NEVER go to bed on a full stomach.
