Here's What Gangs From All Over the World Look Like

08:09
Very few think about it, but almost every country has its low-class gangsters. And each of them has their own specific subculture and style. TIMESTAMPS France – Racaille (rah-KYE) 0:29 USA – White trash 1:09 England – Chavs 1:53 Japan – Yankii 2:36 India – Tapori 3:17 Spain – Cani 4:02 Scotland – Ned 4:43 Israel – Ars 5:23 South Africa – Zef 6:06 Russia – Gopnik 6:46 SUMMARY - Racaille as true Frenchmen possesses a flawless style. They prefer Lacoste, wear Lacoste belt bags, and think that the height of style is pants tucked into socks. - In America, poor white people are often shortly called ”white-trash.” This term goes back to the 1820s and allegedly was invented by African Americans to disparage local poor white people. - The term “chav” came from a Romani word “chavvi,” which means “a child.” Chavs live in poor suburban districts. London traffic is too heavy for them. - Yankii are working-class Japanese youngsters. They are not tough guys like the yakuza, of course. But they are famous for being loud, rude, and refusing to take part in the strict manners of Japanese culture. - Tapori are street thugs from Mumbai. Their motto is "Milking a dummy is saint." That's why their main activity is hustling tourists. - Cani is very easy to spot a Southern-Spanish thug: they look as if they’ve just robbed a pawnshop, wearing multiple rings, gold chains, and other accessories. They like to listen to loud music on public transport, always playing club music out loud. - “Ned” is actually a short version for “non-educated delinquent.” Neds live in the poorer areas of Scottish suburbs. Unlike their English counterparts, these gentlemen are very aggressive, and they can drink huge amounts of alcohol with very little effect. - Arsim is a unique phenomenon in thug subculture because they are mostly religious. They often prefer national headwear to the standard baseball cap. - In the past, Zefs were wealthy but uneducated snobs who drove Ford Zephyrs. Then they degraded, but they still try to demonstrate style and wealth. - A Russian gopnik is a small predator of the criminal world. Gopniks also usually come from the dysfunctional background. They often spend their time squatting in groups and drinking beer. Do you know any other interesting facts about low-class gangs in your country? Tell us in the comment section below. Where the future of fashion is headed - VPRO documentary

50:15
What is the future of fashion and where is the fashion industry heading to? What kind of future do fashion pioneers think of and how do they try to change the way of thinking about fashion? A documentary about the future and a new way of approach to fashion. Every year more than 100 billion new garments are produced. A third of that is never sold, worn and shredded or burned. In the global race for the fastest production at the lowest prices, the fashion and clothing industry has developed into a dazzling Fast Fashion system. That system is not only based on exploitation, but also responsible for 10% of global CO2 emissions. How can we change fashion and still enjoy it? Backlight shows five future fashion pioneers who make their industry future-proof by experimenting with new fabrics, reuse and hi-tech design. Their 'fashion of the future' goes far beyond sustainability alone. They also force us to look differently at beauty and the role that clothing plays in our lives. During the Fashion Week in London, the British duo Vin + Omi presents a haute couture collection made with fabrics based on plants and plastic bottles. The Amsterdam label Hacked By is experimenting with the reuse of clothing surpluses, in collaboration with the large fashion chains that produce these surpluses. And the Flemish designer Jasna Rokegem presents the possibility of clothing, which is made every morning by a 3D printer. Or will we all in the future wear that one ultimate piece of clothing that changes with our moods, protects us against bacteria, repairs itself and never needs to be washed? Almost weekly the fast fashion carousel spits out new collections. The production time between the catwalks in Paris, London and Milan and the clothes racks of the big chains such as H & M and Zara is shorter than ever. Fashion has become affordable and accessible to everyone, but we buy too much and the clothing industry pollutes the planet. The surpluses of returned and unsold garments are accumulating. Even African countries do not want the discarded new clothing anymore, because it disrupts internal production. Every second a truck full of new textiles is burnt somewhere. Getting out of this vicious cycle turns out to be difficult for consumers, designers and producers, and still – a difference can be made. Original title: Future fashion With: Vin + Omi (fashion designers), Orsola de Castro (founder Fashion Revolution), Jasna Rokegem (digital designer, inventor and founder Jasna Rok), Otto von Busch (author, teacher at Parsons School of Design, New York) and Francisco van Benthum & Alexander van Slobbe (fashion designers and founders Hacked By). How ZARA Took Over The Fashion World

Instagram: https://goo.gl/vzBDdg Facebook: https://goo.gl/DZmAeM Twitter: https://goo.gl/6gvG4T #Business #Fashion When we think at some of the greatest companies in the world, we think of examples such as Google, Amazon and so on. But one of the richest men in the world has made his fortune through the most traditional business you can think about - selling clothes. In fact, in the summer of 2017, the shares of his company soared and for a couple of hours and he held the title of the richest man in the world. But Gates claimed back his position later on the same day. Without any formal education except for the first few years in school, he has built the largest clothing company in the entire world. It all started in Spain. Back then child labor was normal. So Amancio left school at the age of 13 to start working as a delivery boy in a local shirtmaker shop. Where he learned to make clothes by hand. He loved his job and started excelling at it, so much that by the time he was 24, he was appointed as a manager. Not bad for the 1960s, right? Ortega realized that only the wealthy residents could afford their clothes so he started working on his own designs that are more affordable. He started producing pretty similar designs but at a much lower cost targeting the rest of the residents. His strategy work out and he successfully sold all of his designs and used the earnings to open his first factory in 1963 Finally, in 1975, he decided to establish his own brand and named Zara. Zara’s strategy was absolutely simple, sell quality products for a reasonable price so that everyone could afford them. This strategy seems so obvious, why others didn't use it. When Ortega was working in that shirtmaker store. He realized that how the cost of the garments significantly increase when they move from designers to factories to stores. He learned the importance of delivering products directly to consumers without third-party distributors. So Zara started doing everything by itself. This reducing the cost But Ortego’s ambitions didn't stop there, it was time to go international. He established his first store outside Spanish borders in Portugal, in 1988. And a year later In New York. And since then the company has been unstoppable. Ortega realized he can't target all the segments of the market through Zara. So he acquired many different brands such as Pull&Bear, Bershka, Massimo Dutti and so on. And formed them all under a holding company - Inditex. But Zara is the biggest of them, it accounts for over 60% of total sales. Unlike other brands, Zara didn't waste money on advertisements. It knew that as long as there are quality clothes for affordable prices, people are going to buy them, so they kept opening new stores instead. By the year 2000, Zara had stores all around North America and Europe. So it was time to invade Asia and the rest of the world. Inditex has over 7000 stores now. What also sets them apart is that, since everything is done in-house. Zara can design a product and get them into stores in less 2 weeks compare to 6 month which is industry average. Ortega followed just in time production strategy. That means they made their supply chain so effective that they could supply their stores in less than 48 hours. Which means, they don't need to order more than they need and if something is selling too good. They know that they can have it back on the shelves in 48 hours. That provided Zara with absolutely unique advantage. This incredible success story started with a 13-year-old kid who simply had a dream and didn't have any formal education. It seems like nothing is impossible as long as you are patient, dedicated and hard working. But in today’s world with the rise of the internet, the first thing you have to do when you start a project is to register your domain. Senhoa's Part in the Fashion Revolution

02:48
Award-winning cartoonist Tony Husband creates cartoon depicting how the fashion industry can be a cause for good. On Apr 23, 2013 the Rana Plaza building in Bangladesh collapsed. 1,138 people died and another 2,500 were injured, making it the 4th largest industrial disaster in history. That’s when #FASHIONREVOLUTION was born. There were 5 garment factories in Rana Plaza all manufacturing clothing for big global brands. The victims were mostly young women. We believe that 1,138 is too many people to lose from the planet in one building, on one terrible day to not stand up and demand change. Since then, people from all over the world have come together to USE THE POWER OF FASHION TO CHANGE THE WORLD. Since FASHION REVOLUTION started, thousands of brands are being more open about where their clothes and accessories are made and are making sure the people who make them are seen, heard, paid properly and are working in safe conditions. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- In 2011 ethical fashion brand Senhoa established itself as a social business in Cambodia. Now known for it’s beautiful, timeless jewelry incorporating Swarovski crystals and artisanal wearing techniques, Senhoa has collaborated with celebrities such as super model Coco Rocha and New York stylist, Julie Ragolia, gracing the pages of Vogue, Harpers Bazaar, Glamour, Huffington Post and Telegraph. The female artisanal workforce who handcraft each piece are handpicked, not due to their experience or skills set, but because they have experienced extreme disadvantage and in some cases human trafficking and sexual exploitation. Senhoa has harnessed the potential of the fashion industry to offer these women an opportunity to access safe and secure employment, transform their lives and for the first time, follow their dreams. Acclaimed cartoonist, Tony Husband, a long standing supporter of Senhoa, shares their belief that there are too many cases where fashion brands are exploiting the lives of their workers in the pursuit of profit. Husband says: “I have been so touched by the transformational impact Senhoa is making on young women’s lives. When you hear so many negative stories about the fashion industry and the harm it is doing, it’s wonderful to see how it can be a force for good.” Senhoa firmly believes the fashion industry is a force for good and there is a huge opportunity for other fashion brands to offer safe and secure employment to their workforce as well as grow a successful brand. Lisa Nguyen, Founder of Senhoa says: ”By wearing Senhoa jewelry our customers directly advocate for the empowerment of women worldwide. We are so grateful to Tony for creating this visual depiction of our work, illustrating not only the positive impact our brand has on the lives of our workers, but also how our jewelry directly connects our customers with the women they are supporting around the world." Senhoa is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. We support vulnerable persons and survivors of human-trafficking by providing income-generating opportunities, social reintegration and programs for self-empowerment. Fashion Trends That Are Going To Take Over 2019

04:16
While fashion experts expect some of your favorite style trends to stick around in 2019, you're going to see them reinvented in interesting ways. It's always exciting to look towards a new year of clothing and style, but let's give this past year some credit: You were able to experiment with some pretty fab fashion trends in 2018. Velvet style reigned supreme not only during the holiday season, but in the fall, spring, and even summer. The denim-on-denim ensemble kept going strong throughout the year and minimalist fashion became increasingly popular. "Geometric minimalism" dominated the jewelry market, precisely as jewelry designer and expert Heena Shah predicted it would when talking to The List in 2017. Before 2018, Genevieve Hartmann Colom, the style training manager for Trunk Club, also told The List that she expected "French girl chic" to be a powerful force. And sure enough, minimalist styles with a French influence proved to be en vogue throughout 2018. As we roll into 2019, some of these 2018 styles will continue to influence fashion trends. But at the same time, it's a brand new year, and that means brand new trends are of course predicted to make their way into stores over the course of 2019. High-shine fabrics, genderless fashion, tons of fun colors, and feathers (yes feathers!) are just a sampling of the styles you can expect to see in 2019. We've done our homework and talked with experts, so without further ado, here are the fashion trends that are going to take over 2019. Gender-neutral style | 0:15 Amping up the feminine | 0:47 Futuristic fabrics | 1:16 Monochromatic looks | 1:32 Color popping everywhere | 1:55 Hold on to your…feathers? | 2:23 Get your cape on | 2:50 Back to the '90s | 3:11 Luxe suiting | 3:44

10 Countries That Have Extremely Different Concepts of Male Beauty

11:21
You know how the old saying goes, “Beauty is in the eye of the beholder.” It really couldn’t be more accurate! What’s considered attractive is totally different for everybody. And it’s not just about looks here either. Where we’re from can subconsciously influence our idea of beauty too! So what types of men attract women in different countries? It’s time to find out! TIMESTAMPS The U.S. 1:03 Brazil 2:03 India 3:00 Sweden 3:56 Turkey 4:52 Italy 5:50 South Korea 6:58 The U.K. 8:08 Greece 9:08 Australia 10:03 Music: Take_You_Home_Tonight https://www.youtube.com/audiolibrary/music Preview photo credit: Chris Pratt in Jurassic World (2015): By Capital Pictures/EAST NEWS, https://www.eastnews.ru/pictures/picture/id/34683802/i/0/t/0 bts.bighitofficial #BTS #YOU_NEVER_WALK_ALONE Concept Photo 1: By Big Hit Entertainment https://www.instagram.com/bts.bighitofficial, https://www.instagram.com/p/BP-Sal-DLJS/?taken-by=bts.bighitofficial Animation is created by Bright Side. #bts #jimin #malebeauty SUMMARY -Rough-looking men with a burly physique are starting to get just as much attention as clean-cut sporty type in the US. There’s even a special term to describe these lady-magnets: “lumbersexuals.” -Brazilian women seem to go for guys with light eyes and fair curls. And don’t forget about that six-pack; impressive muscles are always a plus. -It's usually well-groomed and moderately muscular men that melt Indian women's hearts. -Swedish beauty concept is all about men with sometimes extremely slender physiques and a trace of sadness in their eyes. -Handsome Turkish guys are usually very well-groomed and take their hair styling seriously. But to really please the ladies, their chest hair needs to be mercilessly removed. -An Italian hunk is always fresh and stylishly dressed. He isn’t afraid of bright-colored clothes and jewelry. -Hotties in South Korea have baby-smooth skin, fashionably cut and often brightly-dyed hair, and a slender or sometimes even fragile physique. -People in the U.K. have naturally fair skin, and some men often try to remedy this situation by using self-tanners. It's also very common for British lads to have tattoos. -In Greece, if you have dark or mildly silver-streaked hair, a deep gaze, a slim and tanned body, and the all-so famous Greek profile, that's a winning combination for you. -Guys in Australia can spend hours in the gym trying to buff up, and the ladies certainly appreciate their efforts. How fast fashion adds to the world's clothing waste problem (Marketplace)

Fast fashion is a major contributor to the world's clothing waste problem. 10+ Best Tricks Most Men Keep Forgetting

Who needs expensive accessories when there are so many quick and easy ways to take your look from drab to fab within seconds? If you want to look stylish no matter what occasion, all you have to do is follow some simple rules. Here's a short style guide for men’s fashion to help guys look irresistible. #menfashion #menstyle Other videos you might like: Here's What Gangs From All Over the World Look Like https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=80dA2K9OGqY 8 Hairstyles That Show a Man’s True Character https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FpnqHvmJU4U& 10 Countries That Have Extremely Different Concepts of Male Beauty https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vf_wBKnhKFM& TIMESTAMPS: Make your legs look longer (women like longer-legged men!) 0:23 It’s all about the details 0:54 Keep it simple... and even simpler 1:35 How to get a worn-in leather jacket 2:23 Dress up any look in one simple move 3:23 How not to look sloppy 3:53 Be a man! Grab a needle and thread! 4:25 Learn to choose proper collars 4:56 Make sure your suit suits you! 5:48 Wear in new shoes 6:44 Keep your graphic T-shirts fresh 7:16 Cuff your pants just above your shoes 7:35 Music by Epidemic Sound https://www.epidemicsound.com/ SUMMARY: - If you want to appear taller, try wearing a dark pair of high-tops or boots with some dark-washed denim. Without the stark color contrast, your legs will look a little longer. - Pick an accessory that you don’t see every guy around you wearing. This could be a great watch, an understated necklace, or even some novelty socks. - One thing to remember when shopping is to buy some great dark staple pieces like a dark blue or black pair of jeans, a simple black t-shirt, or a nice-fitting black sweater. There’s something really sleek about wearing dark colors, and it’s hard to look cheap in them. - To wear your jacket in fast, spray it with a little water – or, better yet, wear it outside during a light drizzle. - Whether you’re wearing a t-shirt, polo, or dress shirt, tucking it into your pants or jeans instantly dresses up any outfit. - If you have a shirt that feels a little to snug for your liking whenever you button it all the way up, just take the top button off and sew it back on more toward the edge of the fabric. - If you’re on the shorter side, pick a suit jacket with one button so that you can see more of the top of your shirt underneath. This trick elongates your torso. - Before tossing one of these shirts into the wash, turn it inside out. You can do the same with your jeans to keep their color vibrant for longer. - If you’re wearing tennis shoes with a pair of wider jeans that are a little too long on you, it only seems natural to put your pant legs over the top of the shoe. Ooh, but that’s a bad idea if you wanna look stylish! 15 Retro Fashion Trends That Should Never Return

03:05
Fashion can be very unpredictable and sometimes even crazy. We invite you to remember several ridiculous (or maybe even cool?) fashion trends of the past century. There’s also a great bonus at the end of the article. Check it out! 15. The "Speed-Limit" skirt, 1910s © Wikipedia Commons At the start of the last century, skirts became very narrow, and elastic fabrics had not yet been invented. Fashionable outfits often tore while walking. To avoid this, ladies used special loops on the top of their skirts. They prevented them from making broad steps, making the gait appear lame. 14. The bullet bra, 1940-1950s © Left Diana Dors © Right Evelyn West © East News © retrocrush.buzznet.com This is a funny but sexy trend. It is far from being an anatomically shaped bra, but an undeniable truth is that it could turn even a dull outfit into something erotic. 13. Beehive hairdo, 1960s © EAST NEWS © houseofoneculture.wordpress.com Everyone knows that an updo makes you look beautiful. But getting a sprayed beehive-like hairdo on your head can look comic rather than elegant. 12. Psychedelic patterns, 1960-1970s © Left Angela Cartwright © East News © hotpenguin.net This trend started in San Francisco, the mecca of the hippie culture in the United States. Both men and women chose bright shirts and dresses with some absolutely mind-blowing patterns! 11. Men’s fashion, 1970s © Up Hudson Brothers © Down right Sean Connery © East News © hotpenguin.net © East News The crazy fashion choices of men in the 1970s deserve a separate article. Did they actually wear these clothes? Some men did. However, even now people don’t blindly follow fashion trends. 10. Mullet hair, 1970-1980s © Left David Bowie © LFI/Photoshot/REPORTER/East News © EAST NEWS The mullet hairstyle comes from the 19th century. American fishermen wore their hair long at the back and covered their necks so as not to catch a cold. Then the 1970s arrived, and the fashion trend returned unexpectedly. Even women wore this hairstyle. 9. Padded shoulders, 1980s The effect of broad shoulders was achieved with the help of shoulder pads. Nowadays, these pads look very strange. Yet some celebrities make it their fashion choice — Lady Gaga is one of them. 8. Aerobics workout clothes, 1980s © Left Heather Locklear © East News © Wikipedia Commons The combo of leg warmers and sporty underwear now seems ridiculous, but all the female fitness gurus of the 1980s wore exactly that outfit! Even some men wore it. Remember Batman and Superman? They wore their underwear over their leotards! 7. Crazy teased hair, 1980s © awkwardfamilyphotos.com © portlandmercury.com The 1980s were a time when everyone loved to tease not only each other but also their hair! The perm first, then tons of hair spray over teased locks. Et voila! 6. Bright blushes, 1980s © Demi Moore © EAST NEWS Bright blushes come back into trend from time to time. Yet not all women nowadays can leave the house looking like Demi Moore from the 1980s! 5. The fanny pack, 1990s © iofoto/depositephotos.com This was a very practical accessory, but it is more suitable for street vendors and workers, who need to keep their money and tools at hand. 4. Crazy high platform shoes, 1990s © Spice Girls © Shooting Star/Sipa USA/East News The 1990s saw another trend that made its way to the fashion magazines and then streets all over the world: high platform shoes. The platforms were so high that they even caused injuries! And not only women wore these shoes! 3. Low-rise jeans, 2000s Women and men still wear low-rise jeans now. But at least they cover all the intimate zones and do not expose their underwear to the public (or a lack of such). 2. Fake tan, 2000s © Christina Milian © EVERETT COLLECTION/EAST NEWS The 2000s brought one of the strangest beauty trends of all time: fake tan. Some of us look back at photos from that time and do a facepalm. But some people (the president of a well-known country) still prefer a carrot-colored tan even now. 1. Harem pants, 2010s Just like the speed-limit skirt, harem pants made it really difficult to run away. But real ladies are not supposed to run anyway, are they?

What was in fashion the year you were born

People usually treat you according to your clothes, so style and fashion are important components of our lives. It’s always interesting to look into the past, because fashion can tell us a lot about people’s life in the era. We want to show you what people have been wearing the past hundred years. 1916 — 1926 © (с) IgorGolovniov © Shitterstock © Oleg Golovnev © Shutterstock During this period, perfume was invented, the little black dress appears, skirts become shorter, belts replace corsets, and tuxedos do the same to jackets. 1926 — 1936 © (с) ullstein bild © Gettyimages © Mikhail Pogosov © Shutterstock © Science & Society Picture Library © Gettyimages Skirts become a bit shorter. Eco Fashion Brand is Upcycling Over 100,000 Sweaters Every Year - Slow Fashion

05:10
In this video, we meet Julia Grieve, the founder of preloved, which is a Toronto-based eco-fashion brand that creates clothing using second-hand vintage wool sweaters, rolls of deadstock fabric, and other sustainably sourced materials. Preloved was founded in 1995 and has been upcycling and reusing an average of 100,000 sweaters each year. These secondhand sweaters are usually destined for the landfill, but preloved buys them from rag house clothing sorters and deconstructs them into fabric they can use to design new sweaters. In addition to sourcing sustainable materials for all of their clothes, the brand has also made a conscious decision to manufacture their clothing in Canada instead of outsourcing the work overseas. Their clothes are made by people who are paid a good wage and who have a positive and safe working environment. Mat and I were impressed with the incredible work that preloved does to design and create clothing with minimal impact on the environment, and without exploiting it's workers. One of the reasons we've been inspired to look into ethically made and environmentally friendly clothing is because of The True Cost documentary (http://truecostmovie.com) that we recently watched about the incredibly devastating impact the fast fashion industry has on the planet. We wrote a blog post with tips about how to create an ethical wardrobe here: http://www.exploringalternatives.ca/how-to-create-an-ethical-wardrobe/ You can also check out the incredible clothing line made by preloved here: http://www.getpreloved.com Thanks for watching! So I bought seven full outfits from Fashion Nova and wore them for a week to see if they were as good IRL as they looked on instagram. What do you think of my Fashion Nova clothing haul? Did I achieve #NovaBabe status? Don’t forget to click the bell to turn on post notifications! How Zara Took Over The Industry Using Fast Fashion

04:02
Today, we’re going to look at the history of Zara, its parent company Inditex, and the fashion industry in general, to see how it became possible to create such a high churn rate in the fashion industry. An average American will throw away 77 pounds of clothing every year. And that’s true across the majority of the western world. That is two suitcases of clothes, just dumped. Zara’s first store opened in 1975, in a city called A Coruna in northern Spain. Owners Amancio Ortega and Rosalia Mera had wanted to name it after a favorite Greek film called Zorba the Greek, but a bar on their street had already beat them to the punch, so they settled for Zara, since they had already had the letters made for the sign. Inditex was set up in 1985 as holding company for Zara and the manufacturing plants. They went on to set up and take-over many other high-street brands that follow Zara’s format; such as Pull and Bear, Bershka and Stradivarius. They now have over 6000 stores globally. Zara’s early business model was to create similar copies to high end lines but at an affordable price. As they expanded through Spain, Ortega pushed the idea of instant fashion, where Zara could react incredibly quickly to new trends so they could put new lines on the shelves in a fraction of the normal time. -----------------Support the channel: Support this channel: https://www.patreon.com/alexberman SUBSCRIBE for more videos like this: http://youtube.com/alxberman?sub_confirmation=1 Check out our Digital Agency Marketing Podcast: https://itunes.apple.com/hr/podcast/digital-agency-marketing-1/id1200614219?mt=2&ls=1 Need lead generation or marketing support for your agency? I Dressed Like It Was 1967

I styled 3 outfits inspired by the popular fashions of fifty years ago! As 2017 comes to a close, I figured I would close out our decades through fashion series with a style video of clothes from half a century ago, in 1967. From the mods to the caftans to the hippies, 1967 was a defining year in music, culture, and fashion - and also a fun year to ~wear~ around! Which outfit was your favorite? A huge thanks to Kayley Melissa for rocking out this 60s hair! 10 Fashion Trends Over The Years

03:39
We take a look at women's clothing trends throughout time. Subscribe: https://goo.gl/Hnoaw3 Description: Style is an ever-evolving thing, and fashion crazes have come and gone throughout the years, some lasting longer than others. From flapper dresses to trucker hats, there’s always something new for women to try out, whether they love or hate it. Did anyone actually like wearing trucker hats a decade ago? Although we love poking fun at our parents and grandparents, the things that they wore in their time was once very stylish. As hard as it is to picture your grandmother as sexy, that big hair and those shoulder pads were actually very appealing to men. As time progressed, women began feeling more comfortable showcasing their sexuality and dressing up in ways that made them feel good about themselves. Today we can get away with pretty much anything when it comes to fashion, because women before us have always pushed the envelope when it came to what they wear. We’ve seen it all, but at the same time there is still so much more to see. Style may change, but the fact that women love fashion never will. It’s an art form and a way to express oneself, which is why women will constantly move with the current trend. Everyone has his or her own unique style, because everyone is unique, but it’s interesting to see what fashion trends were considered to be sexy throughout the years. What’s old is new again could not ring more true when it comes to today’s fashion. Vintage stores are where many girls find items for their wardrobes today. Most of the trends from past decades have come back into rotation in recent years and it’s nice to see women appreciating styles that were once so cherished in the past. Although we don’t know if we’ll be able to get behind shoulder pads again. In this video you’ll see some of the sexiest fashion trends throughout the years, when it comes to clothing and beauty. It’s interesting to see how style has evolved, and how women have always taken an interest in the clothing they’ve put on their bodies. For some it’s a hobby, for others it’s a lifestyle. Regardless of how important fashion is to you in your life, this video will give you a glimpse into the past and will help you understand why style has always been a significant factor in a female’s development and in showcasing their sexuality. It’s time to dig up old pictures of your family to see how fashionable they were in their time. You never know, they may have some old items of clothing lying around that you could repurpose for yourself. Even your dad’s old concert t-shirts are back in style. Victoria's Secret Models Who Are Completely Unrecognizable Today

10:48
The Victoria's Secret Fashion Show debuted in 1995, and, over the years, it's acted as a career high for countless models. But wearing wings isn't a forever thing. So where do models go when they've reached the end of the runway? Here's what former Victoria's Secret models look like today. Helena Christensen Helena Christensen began her career as a Victoria's Secret model in 1997, but as Insider reported, she was only with the company for two years. According to her 2018 interview with Media Entertainment Arts World Wide, Christensen went on to grace the covers of over 600 magazines throughout her 30-year career. She also had a memorable part in Chris Isaak's music video for his 1989 single "Wicked Game." After the runway, Christensen turned to photography. Not long after, she and artist/designer Camilla Stærk founded New York design studio Stærk & Christensen. She told the media outlet, "I had the best teachers in the world as part of my career, it was like having the most wonderful photography education anyone could have." Christensen is still incredibly comfortable in front of the camera, though. In 2018, she posted a photo of herself in the same metal outfit she wore in 1991. Marisa Miller In 2009, Marisa Miller donned one of the "most memorable Victoria's Secret Fashion Show looks of all time," according to E! News. By 2013, she had made her feature film debut in R.I.P.D. While not the most well-received film ever, it did give the former For Him Magazine "Sexiest Woman in the World" a chance to stretch her wings, both with acting and stunt work. The self-described "tomboy" told Interview Magazine that year that the physical aspect of filming R.I.P.D. was her favorite part.
