Acupuncture in the US is increasingly being seen as less of an alternative treatment than a complementary one to western medicine, but other aspects of traditional Chinese medicine are having a harder time gaining acceptance. Breast Cancer Discoveries Day 12: Alternative Medicine: Are There Benefits?

01:49
http://www.breastcancerdiscovery.com With alternative medicine becoming a more popular option for treating ailments, it's still very uncertain whether these treatments are the best option in treating something like breast cancer. In Day 12, Dr. Susan Boolbol discusses some of these alternative methods and shares her opinion on their benefits. Video Transcript: "One of the issues that frequently comes up is what about alternative medicine; what about integrative approaches and I think that most of us in the medical world believes that they really do have a place, that certain acupuncture and meditation and different treatments have a place, but I think that their place is alongside western medicine. In fact, at Beth Israel we have a whole acupuncture program. There are many studies that have been done showing the advantages of acupuncture especially alongside of chemotherapy, that it really does decrease some of the side effects and decrease the need for medications. I do believe and most of us in the medical world believe that there is a place for Eastern medicine and the place I believe is right alongside Western medicine. We have a whole acupuncture department and treatment centre within our cancer centre so that patients can get acupuncture alongside of their different treatments. There are many studies that have shown the advantages of acupuncture, that it does decrease the need for medications to control the side effects of chemotherapy and other treatments. So we know that it works. What's key is to do it alongside of Western medicine. At Beth Israel we have an entire department for the Centre of Health and Healing which encompasses all of Western medicine into Eastern medicine and, really, the patients benefit from this."

Natural Supplements, Vitamins and Herbs For Anxiety, Panic Attacks and Stress

38:57
http://www.positivepanicattacks.com/naturalvitaminsherbsandsupplementsforanxietypanicattacks.html Natural supplements, herbs, vitamins to help with Panic attacks & Anxiety There has been a huge shift over recent years to alternative medicine as people get disillusioned with conventional medicine to overcome anxiety. Natural and herbal supplements are becoming popular as people re-engage with nature. The list of potential side effects from drugs and the rebound effects from withdrawing often make the thought of taking medication unpleasant. Often the promise of how effective the medication can be is exaggerated or it simply does not have the effect it should because everyone is unique. Most people want some sort of instantaneous solution to their anxiety, so medication become there first thought, often as a ‘quick fix’. However once they realize the complications with medication, any help they can receive from natural remedies becomes more attractive. Whether you take natural or prescription medication, there is no quick fix solution. I once suffered for years from anxiety and panic attacks and I can assure you the long term cure is combining it with a program of recovery you can integrate within your lifestyle. Ultimately you don’t want to be taking any medication, vitamins or supplements for extended periods of time unless you have too. Medication also implies you have an illness or disease. This is wrong because you have neither. If you had an infection you can take some antibiotics as this is a physical illness that needs a physical substance like Penicillin. Anxiety is different; it’s not something you can physically treat like an infection. Anxiety needs a much more general course of action. It requires you treat different areas within your life with a holistic approach. - See more at: http://www.positivepanicattacks.com/naturalvitaminsherbsandsupplementsforanxietypanicattacks.html

Natural Alternatives to 05 of the Most Common Drugs | Examples Of Alternative Medicine Subscribe To Get New Videos Daily: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCi1zZ8_Q7yqKInXImLCLfXw Do you ever feel like you’re being held hostage by drug companies? All too often, people are made to believe that they have no options when it comes to taking a drug. If your doctor says you need a drug for a serious health problem, you might think it is the only thing you can do. You may feel frightened at the prospect of going against your doctor’s recommendations. You may be wary of seeking out natural alternatives. Drug safety is becoming a major concern among many health professionals. Reports to the FDA of serious adverse drug events, including deaths, have more than doubled in recent years. This is more than enough reason to do a little of your own research and explore natural alternatives before you get that prescription filled. Learn about the harmful side effects associated with the drug. Also, seek out some secondary advice. Research whether the risks outweigh the benefits. Consider what lifestyle changes you could make to improve your health. And investigate some natural alternatives, which may help you avoid taking prescription drugs. #1. Fosamax vs. Calcium and Vitamin D: Fosamax is an osteoporosis drug called a bisphosphonate. It works by inhibiting the work of osteoclasts. These are the bone cells that break down and remove old bone. It has a long list of possible side effects. Such side effects include stomach ulcers and osteoneocrosis, or death of the jaw bone, resulting in tooth loss, pain and infection. Calcium and vitamin D are natural alternatives that can help prevent your bones from reaching the point where you need Fosamax. Long-term calcium supplementation decreases primary fracture rates by 30% to 35% for vertebral bone. It also decreases these rates by 25% for hip bone. It is estimated that 30 years of continuous calcium supplementation after menopause might result in a 10% improvement in bone mineral density. It is also predicted to result in 50% overall reduction in fracture rates, compared with women who do not take calcium supplements. Vitamin D is just as vital. Its major functions are to maintain serum calcium within a normal range, enhance intestinal absorption of calcium and stimulate stem cells to become new bone-building osteoblasts. What to Take: 1,000 mg of calcium, and 1,000-2,000 IU of vitamin D. Pair these natural alternatives with a multivitamin containing magnesium, boron, copper, zinc and other nutrients essential for bone growth. Get vitamin K from leafy greens or a supplement. It revs up bone-building cells. #2. Prozac vs. Fish Oil: Prozac is a popular antidepressant. It is a SSRI (serotonin reuptake inhibitor). This means it helps to keep the “happy” neurotransmitter, serotonin, floating around in your brain longer. Fish oil is a win-win for anyone with depression. It can work by itself for some people. It also can safely help antidepressants work better. It gets incorporated into cell membranes, making them more fluid and responsive to the neurotransmitters that latch on to the cells’ receptor sites. Population studies show people who eat more fish have a lower risk of depression and suicide. What to Take: At least 3,000 mg a day of fish oil. Up to 9,000 mg of fish oil per day has been used in studies to treat depression. It can take several months to see an improvement in symptoms. Video Vlog. My Holistic Doctor Trip. Subscribe to My Channel at: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCjzhljx1qVWwvJ0QuG3BNZg Don't get me wrong I believe in Holistic Doctors because Holistic medicine practitioners believe that the whole person is made up of interdependent parts and if one part is not working properly, all the other parts will be affected. In this way, if people have imbalances (physical, emotional, or spiritual) in their lives, it can negatively affect their overall health. ________________________________________________________ Here's a little bit of info on the subject: Alternative Medicine - Alternative medicine fringe medicine healing medicine effects. Contrary to popular belief, significant expense is paid to test alternative medicine, placebo; or are practices claimed to have the effects of but which are disproven, unproven, or impossible to prove, or are excessively harmful in relation to their effect; and where the scientific consensus does not, or can not, work because the known laws of nature is that the therapy are violated by its basic claims; or where it is considered so much worse than conventional treatment that it would be unethical science-based to offer as treatment. Alternative therapies or diagnoses are not part of medicine or healthcare systems. Alternative medicine consists of a wide variety of practices, products, and therapies—ranging from those that are biologically plausible, but not well tested, to those with known harmful and toxic including over $2.5 billion spent by the United States government. Almost none show any effect beyond that of false treatment. Perceived effects of alternative medicine may be caused by decreased effect of functional treatment (and therefore potentially decreased and regression toward the mean where improvement that would have occurred anyway is to alternative therapies; or any combination of the above. Alternative treatments are neither the same as experimental medicine, nor— although the latter, when used today may be considered alternative. - Wiki -

Leaving Medical Doctors, Turning To Alternative Medicine Is A Choice

19:05
Turning away from the medical doctor route of health care was not easy, it came at a difficult time for me. When I diagnosed my skin cancer and felt very bad - from a very weak physical condition, was the turning point, the juncture in my life where I made the decision not to pursue a medical doctor for an opinion or for help. I thought that visit through and came to see what that doctor would offer me. If it were cancer there would be certain options. One thin - there would be cutting involved in a diagnosis, and if so, I have come to understand that is not the proper route for me to take. I feel that the body is a sealed organism and should not te opened to oxygen. So, I began to take the responsibility on myself. When I don't eat properly I can use what I call 'damage control' - which if I eat something that has a high sodium content, I can follow it up with a glass of water with diatomaceous earth in it - to detox the sodium out of my system. And a half hour later I will take an oil vitamin and some Spirulina. That is one example of how I take my health into my own hands today. ~~~Nancy Gurish Your Health And Tech Friend Magazine "Any sociological question is likely going to have a complex answer with many variables that are not easy to tease apart. We should therefore resist the temptation to make simplistic statements about X being the cause of Y. We can still, however, identify correlations that will at least inform our thinking. Sometimes correlations can be triangulated to fairly reliable conclusions. When the data is complex and difficult to interpret, however, evidence tends to be overwhelmed by narrative. The recent Sandy Hook tragedy is an excellent example. No one knows exactly why the shooter did what he did, so it is easy to insert your own preferred narrative as the explanation. Another example is the phenomenon of so-called complementary and alternative medicine (CAM). Why has it been increasing in popularity (and is it, really?). Is it slick marketing, relaxed regulations, scientific illiteracy, a gullible media, or the failures of mainstream medicine? You can probably guess I think it’s all of these things to some degree. The most common narrative I hear by far, however, is the latter – if people are turning to CAM it must be because mainstream medicine has failed them. This version of reality is often promoted by CAM marketing." Read more at: https://www.sciencebasedmedicine.org/why-do-people-turn-to-alternative-medicine/ ~~~Nancy's Store! BENEFITS OF HERBAL MEDICINE Top Medicinal Herbs More People Are Using

14:39
BENEFITS OF HERBAL MEDICINE Top Medicinal Herbs More People Are Using. What Is Herbal Medicine? Herbal medicines are naturally occurring, plant-derived substances that are used to treat illnesses within local or regional healing practices. These products are complex mixtures of organic chemicals that may come from any raw or processed part of a plant. Herbal medicine has its roots in every culture around the world. There are many different systems of traditional medicine, and the philosophy and practices of each are influenced by social conditions, environment and geographic location, but these systems all agree on a holistic approach to life. Well-known systems of herbal medicine like Traditional Chinese Medicine and Ayurvedic Medicine believe in the central idea that there should be an emphasis on health rather than on disease. By using healing herbs, people can thrive and focus on their overall conditions, rather than on a particular ailment that typically arises from a lack of equilibrium of the mind, body and environment. Although botanical medicine has been practiced for thousands of years, it continues to be of use in the modern, Western world. The World Health Organization recently estimated that 80 percent of people worldwide rely on herbal medicines for some part of their primary health care, and the worldwide annual market for these products is approaching $60 billion. People in the United States have become more interested in herbal medicine because of the rising cost of prescription medication and the returning interest in natural or organic remedies. (2) Whole herbs contain many ingredients that are used to treat diseases and relieve symptoms. Herbal medicine, also called botanical medicine, uses the plant’s seeds, berries, roots, leaves, bark or flowers for medicinal purposes. The biological properties of these plants have beneficial effects. Other factors are responsible for their benefits as well, such as the type of environment in which the plant grew, the way in which it was harvested and how it was processed. The plant is either sold raw or as extracts, where it’s macerated with water, alcohol or other solvents to extract some of the chemicals. The resulting products contain dozens of chemicals, including fatty acids, sterols, alkaloids, flavonoids, glycosides, saponins and others. Benefits of Herbal Medicine 1. More Affordable than Conventional Medicine Modern medical science certainly comes with a high price tag, and pharmaceuticals are no exception. One reason why herbal medicine is becoming more popular recently is because people simply can’t afford to pay for their medication month after month. A systematic review published in Evidence-Based Complementary and Alternative Medicine evaluated whether or not natural health products provide a cost-effective choice in the treatment of disease. Researchers found that natural health products show evidence of cost-effectiveness in relation to postoperative surgery and complications. More research is needed to determine the cost-effectiveness in other areas of modern medicine, but the preliminary data suggests that herbal products are more affordable than pharmaceuticals. 2. Easier to Obtain than Prescription Medications Herbal products, such as herbal extracts, essential oils and herbal teas, are available in most health food and even grocery stores, so you don’t have to see a doctor to get prescriptions before purchasing them. This certainly makes it easier to obtain herbal products and avoid additional health care costs. Herbs are classified as dietary supplements, so they can be produced, sold and marketed without going through the FDA. Although this makes it easier to purchase and use these beneficial products, it’s our job as consumers to choose among the competitors. Make sure to read the ingredients and labels carefully before using any herbal supplement. Purchase from a reputable and trustworthy company that verifies the product is 100 percent pure-grade. 3. Hold Beneficial, Healing Properties Herbs are used for the treatment of chronic and acute conditions and various ailments, including major health concerns like cardiovascular disease, prostate problems, depression, inflammation and weakened immune system. Herbs are used around the world to treat conditions and diseases, and many studies prove their efficacy. In fact, of the 177 drugs approved worldwide for the treatment of cancer, more than 70 percent are based on natural products or chemical imitations of natural products.

Mexico is becoming a top medical tourism destination for patients from around the world. Over one million people are expected to travel to Mexico this year for affordable or alternative medical procedures, most hailing from the United States, where healthcare costs keep rising. Part of the attraction is its unconventional cancer treatments, which are either too expensive to access in patients’ home countries or not approved. Mexico’s medical tourism industry generates over 3 billion dollars a year, and new clinics and health facilities are currently under construction. Some medical professionals warn however that patients have to be cautious in choosing their medical facility, as not all of them are up to international standards. It helps reduce the amount of sugar in the blood and stimulates the pancreas to produce sufficient insulin. 2, Probiotic Yogurt. Yogurt with live, probiotic cultures is another amazing food that is good for your pancreas. Probiotic yogurt helps replace and replenish the healthy bacteria in your gut, which is important for a healthy digestive system. A healthy digestive system is important for pancreatic health. It also has been found to be helpful in treating problems associated with the pancreas. 3, Spinach. Spinach is a good source of iron and vitamin B, the two nutrients that your pancreas needs to function properly. When your body receives these two nutrients in adequate amounts, there is less chance of inflammation in the pancreas. Inflammation in the pancreas increases your risk of pancreatic cancer. In fact, spinach contains a powerful cancer-fighting agent called MGDG (monogalactosyldiacylglycerol) that can slow down the growth of cancer cells in the pancreas and induce apoptosis. Spinach is also beneficial for controlling high glucose levels. 4, Turmeric. Turmeric, a popular spice used in day-to-day cooking, is also good for your pancreas. It possesses cancer-fighting properties that help prevent many cancers, including pancreatic cancer. The compound curcumin in it is effective in identifying potential cancer cells and aids in destructing these harmful cells without damaging healthy cells. A 2013 study published in Anticancer Research found that a unique turmeric extract known as liposomal curcumin may provide an alternative to chemotherapy in the treatment of lethal pancreatic cancers. Turmeric is also a powerful anti-inflammatory agent that protects your pancreas by preventing inflammation of any kind. This spice is even good for controlling high blood sugar and preventing diabetes. 5, Blueberries. All types of berries are good for your pancreatic health, but blueberries are the best for this purpose. Blueberries are rich in antioxidants, which can protect the pancreas from oxidative stress resulting from free-radical damage. These berries can also reduce your risk of developing serious conditions like pancreatic cancer. The compound pterostilbene in berries increases self-destruction of lung, stomach, pancreatic and breast cancer cells. Blueberries also aid in reducing blood sugar levels and are good for people dealing with diabetes. Thank you for watching "10 Amazing Foods to treat Your Pancreas. Kenkoh Massage Sandals for Summer 2017

Kenkoh Massage Sandals for Spring and Summer 2017 http://www.happyfeet.com/Kenkoh Holistic health practices are becoming more and more popular in modern society. The benefits of alternative medicine are almost always in the public eye, as people are trying to switch over to healthier lifestyles. Conventional medicine might not always be the best solution for more ordinary ailments and we would all do well to remember that it is definitely a good idea to try the natural route first. Reflexology massage, in particular, is a great form of holistic therapy that can treat a variety of different conditions. Most people consider foot massage to be nothing more than a tool for pampering and relaxation. While this is not entirely untrue, there are those who believe that reflexology massage offers an entirely new window on alternative medicines and treatment. Reflexology, although it has enjoyed a recent spurt of popularity, has actually been around for centuries. This ancient Chinese type of foot massage is believed to relieve the symptoms of pain and stress throughout the entire body and not just in the feet. Reflexology extends to the hands and not only the feet. Reflexologists are of the belief that different areas in the hands and feet correspond with other parts and organs of the body. Essentially, stimulating a particular area of the foot or hand will cause a corresponding reaction in the matching body part. A slightly trickier way to phrase this would be to say that reflexology offers a means of stimulating the parasympathetic nervous system in order to facilitate the healing process. Massage and reflexology are by no means a miracle cure. For close to 3000 years medical practitioners have been making use of this type of therapy alongside other medicines and treatment programs. A wide variety of holistic treatments, when balanced carefully can assist in curing even the most intense conditions. In many modern cases, reflexologists work together with more conventional medical practitioners to come up with a treatment program that will benefit the patient in more ways than one. Stress and pain relief, for example, are symptomatic treatments which can be used in conjunction with other medicines that will treat the source of the problem. In general, a patient's initial reflexology session will involve an in depth analysis of his or her medical history, any pain they may currently be experiencing, any medical conditions they may be suffering from and details about their lifestyle and diet. The reflexologist will then create a massage plan that applies appropriate amounts of pressure to the relevant areas of the foot (or hand). This plan will be a part of a treatment process that will tweak the patient's lifestyle in such a way that it becomes healthier and more balanced. Appropriate footwear may become a part of the treatment process. Kenkoh sandals, for example, can be worn during the day to simulate reflexology massage. These sandals can assist in providing relief from symptoms such as foot pain, low energy, migraines, varicose veins, bunion pain, leg cramps and muscle soreness. All of these problems are often indications of more serious health problems that can be treated with regular reflexology appointments and other forms of alternative medicine. Acupuncturist Reno + Medical Doctor = Reno Alternative Medicine

Acupuncturist Reno + Medical Doctor = Reno Alternative Medicine More info: http://drclearfield.net/medical-acupuncture/ Call Us 775-359-1222 Dr. William Clearfield and Clearfield Medical Group 9550 S. McCarran Blvd., Suite B Reno, NV 89523 The spread of acupuncture as medically effective in treating a couple of diseases from the Asian continent to other parts of the world was met with disbelief by some. But its continued relevance and popularity by reason of the testimonies of those that have benefited from its healing power has gotten many skeptics embracing it. Today, in Taiwan and China, there are well over 232,000 traditional medical doctors practicing acupuncture. In the United States alone, there are, at the moment, 16 acupuncture schools, 2 medical schools involved in teaching acupuncture, and over 8,000 qualified acupuncturists. Medical acupuncture benefits are currently enjoyed worldwide. This treatment is painless and just like a tiny prick or an insect bite, so is the feeling that comes with the insertion of the needles. For the sensitive, this insertion comes with an energy flow or a warmth feeling usually described as a "buzz". Some people are of the opinion that acupuncture is only a simple pain control technique. To them the needles inserted interrupt nerve pathways thus sending pain messages to the brain. Even though this is relatively true, acupuncture does much more. The makeup of acupuncture is such that it works to balance the body's energy in its entirety as well as treat any malady. By reason of clinical experience, it has been established that acupuncture can correct anomalies having to do with human respiration, the eye, the mouth, human neurology, body muscles, and gastric-intestinal. Its effectiveness in addressing back pain, migraine, and headaches has also been proven. It is commonly used to lower blood pressure, stop smoking, lose weight, relive anxiety, constipation, insomnia, asthma, allergies, and assuage skin disorders. The question that readily comes to mind is: how does it treat all these health disorders. It works by balancing and removing any impediment to human energy "circuits". Instead of inflicting you with the harmful side-effects that comes with conventional drugs, it loads you with beneficial side-effects like deeper breathing, more energy, and better sleep. One of the places that acupuncture has recently been found to help with to a large degree is using acupuncture for depression. The many uses of this treatment and technique are starting to expand. Although the Chinese and millions of people in Asia have been enjoying the benefits of acupuncture for several centuries already, we of other continents can take solace in the fact that the health benefits of medical acupuncture are now available for us. Are you still skeptical of acupuncture and its techniques? Another way to look at it is what do you have to lose? Those pills you've been taking for back pain, migraines, depress and so much more have not been working, so don't you think it is worth a try to find out if you can get the benefits of Medical Acupuncture today? Toward An Integrative Approach to Healing

10:00
The third in a series of workshops moderated by Dr. Susan Massad that examines the contributions of philosophy and postmodernism to addressing the health care crisis in America. With non-traditional treatment approaches like homeopathy, acupuncture, therapeutic massage and meditation becoming more and more popular, American policy makers and health consumers and professionals are facing the challenging question of what a more fully integrative approach to health might look like. Can western and alternative medicine merely be combined? Can the language divide between the two be bridged? Please join us for a conversation about the philosophical and conceptual issues that must be explored in the creation of a truly integrative practice of medicine -- including the relationship of mind-body, subjective-objective, particularistic-holistic, and art-science. Traditional and alternative health care providers and consumers (and everyone in between) are welcome. Susan Massad is a medical educator and general internist at the Brooklyn Hospital Center. She has taught and lectured widely on postmodern and humanistic approaches to the practice of medicine. In 2004, she was named by New York Magazine as one of the NYCs top-10 doctors for her expertise in doctor-patient communication and her groundbreaking work in bringing improv and performance into the medical education of resident physicians. Dr Jeffrey Morrison is a practicing physician who has successfully bridged the alternative/traditional divide. As a champion of nutritional approaches to both healthcare and to preventing and reversing degenerative diseases, Dr. Morrison's treatments focus on enhancing the body's ability to heal and detoxify itself. Mary Abrams is a skilled and talented movement therapist who has taught the practice of Continuum and Jungle Gym during her 20 years of teaching movement. She pays dynamic and detailed attention to breath, sensation, emotions and the creative process in her work in individual and group settings with a wide range of people/problems. Gwen Lowenheim is a talented educator and social therapist who has been a member the Institute staff for 20 years, where she is on the faculty of the Developing Teachers Fellowship Program. She is intimately familiar with alternative and traditional medical approaches, having used both over the past 25 years to live a full and productive life with chronic fatigue syndrome. Dr. Jessie Fields is a general internist currently on staff at St. Lukes Hospital. Dr. Fields has worked for many years in inner city communities, where she practices using a western medicine prospective that has been influenced by her studies in the philosophically oriented social therapeutics of the Institute.

Traditional Chinese Medicine

Traditional Chinese medicine (TCM; simplified Chinese: 中医; traditional Chinese: 中醫; pinyin: Zhōngyī) is a style of traditional medicine built on a foundation of more than 2,500 years of Chinese medical practice that includes various forms of herbal medicine, acupuncture, massage (tui na), exercise (qigong), and dietary therapy, but recently also influenced by modern Western medicine. TCM is widely used in Greater China (where it has long been the standard system of medicine), and is becoming increasingly popular and recognized worldwide (where it is primarily approached as alternative medicine).

YEAST INFECTION TREATMENT

09:03
http://allresources.info/YeastInfectionCureYT - Yeast Infection Treatment which you can depend on to cure your yeast infection. Click Link Above Treatment for yeast infections varies depending on what type of yeast infection you have. The most common yeast infection is, without a doubt a vaginal yeast infection, however yeast infections develop in other areas of the body as well such as the mouth or the skin or in males, on the penis. Yeast infection treatment are manifold and for the most part easy to use. Ordinarily, in order to diagnose and prescribe a yeast infection treatment, your doctor will first take a swab (vaginal or oral) or a scraping (skin) for analysis and once diagnosis has been confirmed the correct yeast infection treatment will be advised. For vaginal and oral yeast infections antifungal drugs are often prescribed and sometimes these can take as little as twenty four hours to be effective. For skin conditions, a topical antifungal cream is usually the best option for a traditional yeast infection treatment. These drugs, when taken orally have some side effects like dizziness and nausea so be aware and always follow your doctor's dosage instructions when on a course of yeast infection treatment. Also, always report any severe or unusual side effects you may be feeling to your health care professional whilst taking this type of treatment for yeast infections. For people who suffer from recurring yeast infections, the alternative route often provides a longer term and more effective type of yeast infection treatment. Most women get at least one vaginal yeast infection in their lifetime and a significant number get more than three a year. Again, yeast infection treatment for this type of recurring problem is varied and in most cases extremely successful. Alternative approaches tend to go beyond curing the yeast infection and address the problem of why they reoccur in the first place. This sort of treatment for yeast infections is of much more value, and if followed properly can often eliminate yeast problems for good. It is worth noting that natural yeast infection treatments are becoming ever more popular, as more people realise just how easy and effective they are and also as concerns about over use of prescription drugs becomes more of an issue. The important thing about choosing a yeast infection treatment is that it is right for you. You may be a fan of traditional medicine and feel quite happy with the yeast infection treatments which your doctor advises. However, taking lots of drugs is not always the wisest approach, especially in the treatment of yeast infections. Do some research on more gentle, alternative yeast infection treatments. Usually, you can implement an 'anti-yeast' plan alongside a traditional yeast infection treatment involving prescribed drugs and what's more, with a reputable natural yeast infection treatment plan, you will learn about how to prevent recurring yeast infections so that the problem simply goes away. Also, it means you can be prepared - in the event that you decide to use a more natural yeast infection treatment in the future, you will know exactly what you need and always have it to hand so you can start the treatment for your yeast infection at the first sign of an itch without waiting for a doctors appointment. Creative Integrative Healthcare Training

Click here for more information: 🌐 https://QuantumUniversity.com Integrative Medicine is becoming a popular concept today that is not unfamiliar to conventional medicine. But without a detailed explanation of the underlying concepts that allow a practitioner to embrace multiple modalities of energetic healing and strategies to implement a new vision of the human being based not on disease but on full potentiality, the label “Integrative” will be only superficial. In this revolutionary course, the student will acquire not only precise concepts of the principles of quantum physics that allow a larger view of reality, but will also gain the ability to integrate multi-dimensional approaches of healing in a model of the human being that encompasses the materialistic point of view of Western medicine. The student will learn how to evaluate clients not in fatalistic terms of disease, but by recognizing the parameters of health and how to blend different modalities of healing that address the subtle bodies – Supraramental, Mental, Vital, and Physical – opening new dimensions of healing. The concept of homeopathy will also be reviewed and revised through new technologies issuing from research in quantum physics, revealing how we can get better results. Integrative Medicine will become real through what we call Creative Integrative Medicine, a vision of modern medicine that allows the integration of ancient, conventional, and modern models of healing. You will be amazed how the medicine of the future will look as we refine our observation of the individual from a broader and deeper point of view, applying the elements of quantum physics to the field of Integrative Medicine. This course is an opportunity to update your model of healing and knowledge in health care, no matter whether you are from the medical field or from the domain of wellness.

How Alternative Medicine Reverses Rheumatoid Arthritis

03:12
http://www.rheumatoidarthritistreatment101.com/ If you want the closest thing to a rheumatoid arthritis cure, medication is probably the answer in your case. With medication you will get almost instant pain relief, although you need to be aware that medication should not typically be taken for the long term and instead is more for temporary relief. Nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs are often the first step, and help to relieve pain and reduce inflammation. They do have risks of side effects however that will increase when used at high dosages for long term treatment. This is why you really need to be cautious as to how long you are staying on medication.

Lasers Becoming a Popular Form of Pain Treatment

02:32
Watch more and discuss: http://stamford.itsrelevant.com/content/18700/patients-find-relief-in-laser-pain-therapy Many Americans are waking up with pain, whether that be stiffness in their joints or any other general body ache. For a while, there wasn't much of a long term cure. But more recently, there's been a go-to-treatment. "So you can see here : That's where the laser is treating right now and I don't feel a thing," explained Dr. Amy O'Donnell with the laser. Here at Dr. Amy O'Donnell's office in Stamford, lasers are used to treat everything from arthritis to muscle pain to even tendon and ligament injuries. "Then if I want to increase the activity, I'll move the elbow and the wrist," she pointed out. She calls it one of the most advanced lasers in the industry, praising the laser's ability to reduce inflammatation and pain at the same time. "It can be a dull and achy pain, which prevents them from getting up and doing their daily living or their chores and exercising. So, I would say most people want to get better fast and I also treat people with chronic pain as well," she said. Lasers are popping up all over medicine and it's largely due to their ability to treat an infected area in a non invasive way. This laser in particular uses both continuous light and pulsed light therapy, which Dr. O'Donnell says leads to better and faster resuts. "You cannot be burned. You don't feel anything. There are no side effects. The contraindications would be obviously you wouldn't use it over a pregnant woman's abdomen, over a known cancerous lesion and you wouldn't use it on a growth plate of child - other than that it's completely safe," she said. It's a treatment divided into a number of sessions, each costing anywhere form 115 to 150 dollars. Some patients with an acute condition see an improvement in as a little six sessions, while a more chronic condition could takeup to 12 sessions. "It's very quick, it's easy and more importantly there's no pain. And, it heals very fast, I think, said one patient. Suffering from Plantar fasciitis and achilles tendonitis in both feet, Kirsten Macdonald was no longer able to exercise and go about her daily routine. "So, I was really open for anything and of course my first question was does it hurt - and no it doesn't. So, I went along with it and I was very happy I did," she said. Now, while the laser is FDA approved, the cost is still not covered by insurance. And that leaves the high price tag on the patient. Produced By: Diana Blass

Holistic Emergency Care and Trauma Recovery for Animals book introduction

05:56
In the beginning there was nature’s medicinal garden. All life relied on its many gifts for well-ness and healing and the great joy of her beauty. Then … we got busy. And in our business we demanded shortcuts because we did not wish to be bothered anymore with keeping healthy or using natural remedies or eating well. We wanted easy meals, and quick “cures” from illness and disease for ourselves and our animals and we wanted them now! Then our health got worse, and with us our animal’s health got worse because we took them with us into the fast and furious life that we decided to experience. Fast food and fast remedies were great or so we thought for a while… Within the quick mix of life and “healing” we also simplified emergency care, from first responder skills to major trauma correction. Stabilize and transport to the closest veterinarian or medical facility. What had been household knowledge in the past regarding emergency or acute healing assistance was left to the medicine people and shaman. MISSION and INSPIRATION Our Mission is to create a greater awareness within human kind of the whole multi-body systems of human and those of the animal kingdom, focusing on how to provide holistic care in emergencies, acute illness and trauma recovery, with deep emphasis on prevention through wisdom (love in action). The Inspiration (excerpt from Holistic Emergency Care & Trauma Recovery for Animals book) fieldIn the beginning there was nature’s medicinal garden. But, at the time that the Holistic Emergency Care Project for Animals and Humans was launched on a wave of renewed interest in holistic and alternative care throughout the world. It was a time when people were beginning to seek more answers regarding overall wellness of their own bodies and that of their animals. The current mode of just using allopathic medicine was not working. There had to be better solutions. So on the energy of the desire for better solutions came a remembering of earth wisdoms and seeking new answers to old questions. How do we combine conventional or allopathic medicine with holistic / alternative medicine for the greater wellness of our animals and our own bodies? For truly there are gifts in both. basketFields of study and practice in holistic healing developed and are every day becoming more and more popular, along with a greater awareness and even appreciation developing within the veterinarian world and that of the AMA. Yet there has maintained a gap in the sector of both veterinarian and allopathic medicine regarding the implementation of holistic healing in emergencies, acute illness and trauma recovery. The purpose of Holistic Emergency Care and Trauma Recovery for Animals and Humans is to create a foundation of knowledge on how to utilize many of the holistic modalities such as homeopathy, herbology, flower essences and direct energy work in emergencies, acute illness and trauma recovery, and in so doing to create a bridge of healing assistance where before there was a gap that often lead to w(hole) healing failure. The books are but one part of a three part project which will contain an associated product line and clinics in which the techniques in the book(s) will be taught first hand. It is my hope that in time these techniques will become accredited courses of study for those in health care for animals and humans, as well as being used in homes all over the world to bring a greater and greater success to healing and maintaining overall well-ness in to our families and the Earth as a whole. more information on website : www.holisticemergencycare.com

What Dolphin Training Taught Me About Autism | Sara Childers | TEDxFSCJ

13:12
Sara Childers is on the autism spectrum and an aspiring marine mammal veterinarian. She has worked extensively with dolphins already and believe that some of the training methods that we use with them would be very beneficial to those on the autism spectrum. Autism is becoming more and more popular with each passing year. However, mass media only tends to show the negative aspects of the disability, tending to highlight incidences of bullying or mass murder. What people don't realize is that those incidences are only account for a very small fraction of those on the spectrum and that the vast majority of us lead healthy, productive lives. Sara Childers has over ten years of small animal, large animal, exotic animal, and marine mammal husbandry experience, which she started acquiring at nine years old. She aspires to start at the University of Florida’s College of Veterinary Medicine in 2016 to obtain her doctorate of veterinary medicine degree and certi cate in aquatic animal health, pending her acceptance into the program. Sara is a pre-veterinarian student at the Florida State College at Jacksonville with a concentration in biology.Sara is on the autism spectrum, an advocate for fellow people with autism, and the founding president of the Spectrum of Success, Florida State College at Jacksonville’s first club devoted to helping those on the autism spectrum excel in college, learn the skills they need for life, and jobs, and be comfortable on campus.
