In the latest How-To, Matty Matheson shows us how to make the perfect rib-eye steak and Power baked potatoes. The first thing you gotta do is turn those ordinary boring potatoes into Power Potatoes. Do you know how to do that? I don't think so, that's why you're about to watch this video.. Once the potatoes are in the oven you can start on the filling, this is what makes them Power Potatoes.. Start by making Lardon, you probably don't know what that is, that's ok! Once the potatoes are cooked, hollow out the inside, add that to the Lardon with all the other good stuff listed in the recipe. Make sure you keep the skins intact, guys!! Fill the skins with the mixed filling and put them back into the oven and move onto the steaks. Make sure your rib-eye steaks are at room temperature - this is very important. Lightly salt the steaks and sear all sides. Add some butter to the pan and get into that meditative basting zone. Once you reach your desired temperature pull the steaks out of the pan and rest for 10 minutes before serving. You are getting really good at this... just follow along and try not to fuck it up! It's that easy, guys.. How to Make Matty Matheson's Squad Fried Chicken

This is a special day guys! This is the day Matty shows you How-to make Fried Chicken. It's not southern fried chicken, it's squad fried chicken. Squad fried chicken can be from anywhere in the world, as long as you have a good group of buddies to share it with. First, cut your birds into 10 even sized bucket-ready pieces. Then submerge those pieces in pickle brine for 24 hours. This is an important step and cutting corners will not be tolerated! After 24 hours, transfer your pieces into buttermilk for another 4 hours. Don't complain about waiting, it's not that hard and no one likes a complainer. Watch The Equalizer twice or something.. Denzel takes out the entire Russian Mafia in that movie. I think you can wait 4 more hours on your couch. After those 4 hours, evenly cover each piece of chicken in your flour mixture and preheat your oil to 300°. Once your oil reaches temperature, drop your chicken pieces in slowly. DO NOT FUCKING BURN YOURSELF! Cook your pieces for 15 - 20 minutes or until they reach 165° inside. Have you ever burnt your mouth on fried chicken? It fucking sucks, don't do that to your squad. Let the chicken cool down before serving. After a few minutes, pull out some white bread, pickles and lemons and serve it to your squad. Fried Chicken Suicide is real! Be careful with hot oil guys. WONDERFUL', OUT NOW ON VICE RECORDS: http://smarturl.it/MrWonderful In the latest video offering from Action Bronson, we find the world's most infamous gourmand reunited with an old high-school friend turned truffle dealer. Our day begins at Urbani Truffles in Midtown Manhattan, where our guide, Mike Rojas, displays an unprecedented amount of black and white truffles to stoke Mr. Bronson's excitement for this exquisite tuber. A plan is set, and then we are off to the holiest of the holies: Per Se. It is here that chef de cuisine Eli Kaimeh prepares soft-scrambled Americauna Hen eggs with Castelmagno cheese and shaved white truffles, served to Action and his friend on a gold plate. After this, we could have stopped and went home satisfied, but we pressed onward towards the temple of regional Italian cooking: Babbo. We were greeted outside by the executive chef, Frank Langello, and quickly escorted to the kitchen so that Frank could get his hands on some of our white truffles. With business out of the way, we perched at the bar to try the braised beef agnolotti with butter and Parmigiano under a blanket of the day's theme. Next, we headed to the Upper East Side for dinner at Michael White's new French restaurant, Vaucluse. This was Action's first time at Michael's new place, so we went a little beyond the requisite pasta with butter and truffles and added aged steak and a cheeseburger with black truffles to the tally. All in all, it was a day of eating that few have ever experienced, let alone in a satin Jets jacket.
